Fishing in Japan began in march 2018 with my best friend from high school. we’d record demos in his garage every friday after school, and soon were playing shows around dallas. the band has since gotten over five million streams on spotify and apple music.
my mom died in july 2019 after a long battle with alcoholism, which pushed me to delve deeper into my relationship with music as a means to cope with her loss. i took a long break from releasing consistently.
moving to nyc in august 2023 helped me rediscover my direction and goals. i released an ep in december with my roommates under the name overheard. most recently, i’ve decided to make effort in developing my solo career.
thank you all for the continued love and support. below is my complete discography.
